No Place to Hide
A sculpture about marine waste pollution
Emily Miller, Bob Chiavarini and Tom Willing came together around the need to say something about the waste pollution accumulating in the North Pacific Gyre and its effect on wildlife, food chains and the quality of life on earth. Robert made the turned portions and assembled the pieced, Robert carved the dolphins, whale and bird, and Emily added the ghost netting - salvaged from the north shore of Oahu, and gold leafed the sun.
