This year, 35 artists collaborated to create over 30 breathtaking pieces in wood, metal, stone, glass, fibers and mixed media. Huge thanks to all the participating artists, who contributed their time and materials for these pieces, which will be auctioned as a fundraiser to support Frogwood’s initiatives and events. Special thanks to Auction Coordinator Amarette Gregor for all her work organizing this event, and to Lee Mahoney for donating his photography skills.

About Collab at a Distance
With the COVID-19 pandemic, board member Marjin Wall developed a new collaborative opportunity for the Frogwood community: Frogwood’s first Collab at a Distance. Pandemic restrictions would not allow in-person events, but creating and collaborating, with pieces shared through the U.S. Postal Service, meant that Frogwood art-making and collaboration continued.
The success and popularity of the 2020 event highlighted the unique opportunities for Frogwood “virtual” events during the off-years, allowing the artistic network to grow and strengthen. Artists, no matter their geographic location or time restrictions, have the opportunity to broaden their creative experience through collaboration with others during this months-long event.
